i am IN LOVE with charlotte olympia shoes...aahhhhh. do you love them as much as i do? i think the pink/nudeish ones or the leopard strappy/laced ones are my favs. the pink ones with a pretty dress or the leopard strappy/laced ones with skinny black pants and a blazer - too cute to be true!

big, bold brows - the new caaj standard

i am really loving thick eyebrows. i think it looks so chic to have thickish eyebrows and *added bonus* they really draw attention to your eyes. i just love them on the celebs below. there is something about them that screams caaj since thick eyebrows require less effort than shaped, thin eyebrows and we at styleruminative (i am using the royal "we" here, mind you) love anything and everything caaj. i am, however, suspecting that this is another guy repellant trend, but who wants to look stylish for guys anyway, rigghhhtttt?

caaj formal - not an oxymoron

so i got online to order some household items, but somehow started perusing the formal dresses on shopbop.com instead and the ones below really caught my eye. the first one is so interesting and unique - the model ends up looking like a mermaid almost! - and i absolutely love the color cream (or is it oatmeal?). i especially love the back view with the way that accordion piece flows. the second one is so simple and understated, with just the right amount of caaj-provocative. i love the flash of lace and you can never go wrong with black. oh, reem, you really nailed it!

now if only i could convince myself that i need to buy a $2,500 formal dress for something...my rule is that if i can't stop thinking about an item after a few weeks, then i must buy. it means that it must really be love and everyone knows you shouldn't deny yourself love, so i end up buying. i think that's a pretty good rule if you ask me (just don't ask my credit card bill...or my dad for that matter).

loving the shots below - the outfits, the detailing, the flounciness of the skirts, the ruggedness of the biker chick, the polka dot jumpsuit, the oversized chanel clutch, the layered bracelets - all magical! ahh if only we could all dress up like that every day - wouldn't the world be such a prettier place? i obvi mean that in the least shallow and least superficial way possible. oh and the last shot is absolutely amazing - ahh i love every single one of those outfits in that picture (okay, except for the far left maybe)..
